Formal Reforms in the Educational Sphere are supposed to be filled with the Real Sense V. Lytvyn
In the Friday´s interview to Rada television channel, V.Lytvyn commented upon the reasonability of canceling certain innovations in the field of education, esp. independent external testing. Thus, V.Lytvyn stated: "Personally, I disagree with certain recent innovations; however, restoration of the previous order may cause further destabilization".
The Head of the Parliament believes that the reforms mentioned had been of formal nature, and "the form shall be filled with pragmatic sense", esp. in the part of funding.
As far as the independent external testing was concerned, V.Lytvyn called for granting the children the right of choice between the testing and the examinations.
The Head of the Parliament drew attention to the quality of teaching and resources of education establishments. "It should be devoid of political flavor, - he stressed. The objectives shall be as follows: to guarantee comprehensive professional training and personal development, as well as individual approach in the system of both secondary, and higher education".
